Concepts and Components of Household Disaster Preparedness: A Qualitative Study

INTRODUCTION: Despite the prevalence of term “household disaster preparedness”, there is no consensus over a single and clear definition in this regard. The present study aimed to identify components explain concept household preparedness. METHODS: was conducted based on qualitative design. After reviewing preparedness previous studies, subjects were selected by purposive sampling from managers experts active field risk reduction, as well heads families. data collected through semi-structured interviews analyzed thematic analysis method, then main sub-components identified.
